    BTS

As you do, I was looking out of my window last night at 4am which overlooks the Sukhumvit BTS line and what do I see, two trains stuck together, thats six carriages, going past! They appear to be testing if they could be run or not. This is good news for anyone who like me is getting mightily fed up with over crowded trains at peak times.
....in-depth analysis? Informed opinion? Intelligent comment? You wont find any of that stuff from me....

5 maximum - the platforms aren't long enough for 6. They were prolly just moving them about.

I remember the time when you had a feeling in the BTS like in the first class of a plane. Empty seats everywhere. Some years ago.

They just have to increase the frequency. Now it is really a nightmare to use it but still better than with a taxi.

^^ Not sure they can increase the frequency, peak time at On Nut they need to stack up before offloading. The only way will be to add more carriages, whatever it needs to be sorted before they open the extension.
    Happy days.

Can't believe they wouldn't add more carriages during peak hours. It's starting to look like Tokyo's Marunouchi Line -- requiring stuffers to push people in. Not very pleasant at 44 degrees.

    Cheap bastards.

.........and the dumbfucks running it, they allowed a farang couple, with a bloody push chair and kids to buy tickets at rush hour. Not their fault, doubt they realised what was ahead of them as they struggled up the escalator.

Joking aside I feel quite sorry for the young girls having to put up with blokes like me being squeezed into them.

If this all does not help perhaps it is simply too cheap to use it

Just to confirm this important question, I spoke to one of the architects who designed the stations here, and he tells me it is 6.

    Sorry.
