    Looking for some rental advice

Hi, the family and I are tossing up a 9 month or so stay in Bangkok soon. Trying to find a place in central Bangkok and if not at least somewhere very close to the skytrain line. 3 bedrooms in a decent sized condo that I guess would have to be at least 120m2, prefer closer to 150m2. Some decent facilities in the building wouldn't go astray either (pool etc). Budget is anywhere between 20,000 and 40,000 per month. Any ideas?

The 2nd option would be Hua Hin we have stayed there several times and really love the area, either a house or condo would be ideal and preferably somewhere down around the new shopping centre/Marriott region would be great.

    Cheers for any thoughts

    cimboc.

If you are paying in the region of 30-40 K might save you some time to find a good agent to source a place for you. I can recommend a friend if you want, just pm me.

Very bad advice, i recomend you ignore kingwilly's post.

Explain to them that you will only be staying for 9 months, most will make you a new contract for that time, especialy the more expensive places. If you tell them 12 months and want to leave after 9 then you WILL loose your deposit.

I agree with Noodles, tell the truth. Nine months is better than an empty condo.
