    Hotel club lounges

Any recommendations for Bangkok hotel club lounges?
I see Lubua offering free food and alcoholic drinks till 6pm.
Are they worth the extra cash?

^ i stayed on the Club floor at Lebuah a few weeks back when it was a big Buddha holiday so cant comment on cocktails or lack of fucking alcohol in the fridge and being told help yourself to the free soft drinks.

You cant get into the Club lounge in flip flops

    The swimming pool was cold

Come 6'oclock one of the 4 lifts is swamped by outsiders vying to just go to the top for the views.

The balcony with suberb views in your room is permanently locked to stop you leaping off after youve seen the price of a fuckin mocktail. They will let you on for a few mintues if you ask though for photos.

The breakfast buffet is far superior for non club members on the swimming pool floor. Although they will cook whatever you want and there are nice views from there.

If you have a car and pop out, the twat of a security guard will ask you for a parking ticket that no coont has told you about and let you walk 300metres to the lobby or charge you 200 baht.

On the plus side the soap and shampoos in the bathroom are well worth nicking

Are you joking? Room balcony access/view would be main reason for booking floor 52+
