There are places within your budget.

lat Prao is on the expressway and won't take you long to get into town.

i wouldnt advise moving to Bangkok, unless you need to work there, wspecially now with that 40 degree heat coming soon.

Apparently its the hottest City in the world for round the clock highest temperature

Geographically it is obviously a district within the boundaries of Bangkok but socially I would place it somewhat nearer to 'Whyfuckingbother'.

If the OP wishes to rent a house within a decent part of central BKK then he should raise his budget nearer to the 50,000 baht monthly rent mark but in truth, why the preoccupation with a fucking dog? Travelling thousands of miles to rent what is going to be a glorified dog kennel is stupid.

Not quite. The city is regarded as the "hottest" only in the sense that the range in temperatures averaged throughout the year is the narrowest in the upper range i.e. average daily temperature of 35C falling to around 27C at night, and that difference of around 8C is maintained most days.. Other cities elsewhere in the world are of course much hotter i.e Dehli, Jeddah.

Never lived in Bangkok. I did know there were neighborhoods/districts though. Ever ridden the skytrain or Metro? They call out like half of them over the speaker
