Children's Discovery Museum. A trip to, there of.

This place closed up shop about 5 years ago, I think due to lack of funding as it's free entry.

Sprung back up a year or so ago, with funding from one of the Princesses I think, so took the sprog there.

Right behind Chatujak, you can't miss it.

Opens 10am-4pm, closed on Mondays.

Got there at 11am and still a few places in the tiny car park.



Was still quiet heading in.



I threw the sprog into her Sunday best for it.



Cool little pool playing zone. closed from 12:00-1:30pm so we missed it on the way out.



Big outside playground based on lots of rope netting and wooden bridges and slides.





Inside the first playzone and you Aussies can learn how to tune a V8.



CJ and Tezza can learn how to grow some herb.



Betty can learn how anally test Gerbils for STDs in the Vet section.



Lulu can pretend he's an astronaut and take pics he can later claim he saw through his telescope.





Mars One Express.



Learning how to pay bribes.



Good big library zone.



The whole place is a Yummy Mummy Zone.

Bonus.

The science park zone.



They could have taught Lulu a thing or thing in here if it was open.



Down to the Soi 22 Massage Girls Zone.





A few Somchais being hatched.



Find the TV mod's Murdered Wife Section.



Build a city that actually works section. Bit devoid of Thais that one.



The Let's Pretend We Like Cambodia and Burma section.



The Lego section was a favorite.



Place is a lot bigger than my lousy pics convey.

Did I mention it's completely free?


It's also completely free of restaurants and shops. Was bladdy Hank Marvin by the time we got out, and Chatujak area during the weekdays isn't World renown for restaurants or parking spaces. Blazed off home at over fried chicken kph to devour a raw pigeon.

Welcome. Would be a nice place if you're in BKK with a kid. BTS to Chatujak, then a walk around to the back of it for this.

It's a pity really that they don't do towers of Erdinger. Or Coffee. Or any food or drinks whatsoever.

No shops of any kind whatsoever.


There is a zoned off empty Bicycle Lane on the tiny, busy road in though, it only takes up one of three lanes, if that's your kinda thing
