    AIS LTE

Just noticed AIS LTE is on my phone today instead of AIS 3G

Will be rolled out nationwide this year.

I just did a speedtest which came back pretty shit, then I realised I'm on the 79 baht a week 512kb/s package

    Anyone else have

I thought LTE was supposed to bring the pings down below 10 m/s and thus be ok to play FPS's

Low data transfer latencies (sub-5 ms latency for small IP packets in optimal conditions), lower latencies for handover and connection setup time than with previous radio access technologies.
so in conclusion - yer LTE is sh1t

There appears to be some bargains on their tariffs, due to someone being shit at maths I reckon

    570 baht a month for 15gb ain't bad

What donut would buy the second package down ?

Mao Mao is their max speed tinternet

You can buy it limited to 384kbs or 512kbs which isn't too bad actually if you're just surfing.

    Hmmm...

To be fair, for Thailand, you'd be very happy with that on a regular basis.

Curious about what sppd I'm getting:

Wife and I both have contracts cor our phones, with X amount of free calls/texts etc, and unlimited 3G (and now appears 4G). Highest I've ever paid for 1 month is less than 350 baht.

^ it is because he is not using an iTard device

everyone knows that the iDevice network stack has hardcoded cappelatechino breaks which slows down the data

and you were probably holding it wrong

you should clasp it in your hand and shake it vigirously in front of your crotch for best results

Like you, AIS. We haven't asked to change anything from our original contracts, only changed the phone setting to LTE/4G/3G. This thread got me curious is all, and hence tried it out.

    BREAKING NEWS

They've realised their mistake with the 19 baht net, 500mb for 24 hours and won't let me sign up for it. and to add insult to injury, they've only charged me 49 fukkin baht and put me on their 384kbps package for a day.

Tune in tomorrow for the enthralling speed test update betts
