    Thanks for clearing that up.

Will you ever get a job, do you think?

70 quid of your old man's dosh spent on drinking fizzy piss in an airport.

You may well be right, but when I've tried similar in lounges in Bangkok, Muscat and Dubai, you are limited to 3 drinks and 2 or 3 hours. It's often about 20 squids though, so for 50 squids you'd expect a lot more. Is this a tiered rate?

Etihad used to be good, they have gone down hill now, gold card members could go into the first class lounge then they changed it to business class, and now they have some shitty little lounge whatever its called.

there also do the bus thing to the terminal again.

fly qatar or emirates lot better.

I've found Qatar good, and cheaper than Etihad (only went with Qatar once, the flight was good, but the airport is horrible to transit in; couldn't find any beer!).

I've had nothing but awful experiences with Etihad.

yep i checked out Etihad, customer reports, and nearly every one said it was shite, for a long haul, no leg room etc etc rude staff, (do they ever read these comments ?) looks like too many seats crammed into the airplane, something you might expect on a 2 hour flight to Spain. still to late now, will comment when i have done the flight.

If you're flying Etihad you'll be in the spiffy new terminal. If you're using another airline you'll be stuck in the infamous 'magic mushroom'.
i flew back three weeks ago, etihad via abu dhabi, had to spend 3 hours in the magic mushroom.

Ethiad, to look like their planes and service, look as if they'll be moving everyone over to sardine class and fit more in....

....oh hang on the Arabs don't need the money that badly

Last time I flew Etihad they had me waiting an extra 5 hours for the plane at Heathrow and only gave me a 10 pound voucher... Their customer services, twice since, have been abysmal, so much so that I even let one flight I'd paid for go rather than deal with them - never got the money back... I will not willingly fly with them again. Horrible airline with even more horrible customer services (which when I went to the office at Muscat airport, they told me were based in India...).

^Did you notice all the robed posh arabs in the VIP lounges, I doubt their service is that bad in there. In fact it wouldn't be anyway, save the cattle class for the poor white man

I remember the days when an airline thread was just between BA and Qaintass with the American airlines to lower the tone, and the lovely Singapore air as a premium.

Forget all these sand nigger airlines.

I'm a former regular user of those 'airlines' and it sure has leaned towards their own kind
