    Poll: Bangkok Flooding 2013?

Do you think Bangkok and the areas outside it are set to repeat the flooding that happened a couple years ago? Just seems like there is a lot of news out there right now. What are your expectations? Are you prepared this time compared to last?

    2013.
I believe the region is out-of-the-woods now.

It looks to me as though there is less water than 2011 but there is already flooding in Ayuddhya and, I believe, Pathum Thani. The question is really how bad those areas will become but I do not believe Bangkok is facing serious threat.

    Different scenario to 2011.

Expect some flooding to about Rangsit, but not after it.

How is it downtown today?, It has been raining constantly in Bangna since about 5.30am this morning.

I doubt downtown will be the problem but the river banks are unlikely to hold.

A bit of flooding in Rangsit around Zeer and on up to Future Park. Front of Zeer always floods anyway with the briefest of downpours. Not long come back from Future Park and the floodwater has dropped a little but outside Zeer still the same.

Wow, driving to Bang Kapi today I was quite surprised at how much flooding there was on Ramkamhaeng 43/1 and 53 and the boats had to stop service on the Saen Saeb canal due to the very high water level... Another rain like the one we had last night and I reckon the canal could easily flood its banks...
