    Giving Back 2013, We Train

As some of you remember from last years thread, once a year my family brings food, and a few gifts to the children who stay in the We Train compound near our house. It privately run and helps kids and their moms. Especially those who have been beaten or infected by HIV. The Japanese government, the King of Sweden, and Jimmy and Roselyn Carter are major benefactors.

We simply brought sweet and sour macaroni with shrimp, sirimi crab, and ham Cooked it up right here in the house. Its what they ordered. We also brought fruit and Walls ice cream which really went down a treat. Old clothes and toys we had as well as what friends had given were also donated All in all a very nice 2 hours.
.. So here are some of the kids, staff, and people like me and the family who like to help out when we can.

    Start of the meal.
Much younger than last year. Only two kids from last year were still there.
    Just sitting down to eat.

Tara was a cutie and took to my wife instantly. My wife is coming to terms with our daughters going to the states or the UK for their education in only two years. I think she has her mind on one more.

I called this guy Si, as he ate 4 ice creams.

Too cute, I was proud to see my daughters happily helping with ice cream distribution.
    Saying thank you Thai style.

Well worth cooking serving and enjoying, We all enjoyed ourselves and I am sure the kids and staff loved it as well.

Google We Train, if you have time, love, money or anything to donate. It goes to very very good use.

It makes my year every year mate. To see kids go so happy over a 14 baht Walls ice cream. To show us things they play with we have given. As the old Indian chief said in Little Big Man, " It makes my heart soar like a hawk".

Fantastic stuff AO, myself would like to get involved in some sort of charity work when I retire.

Give back a bit to people in need.
