    Seed Mingle Bangkok

I've purchased a condo at the new Seed Mingle in Sathorn and am experiencing a slight bit of buyer's remorse.

The developer is a Thai developer, Pruksa. I am worried that the quality of the build and the maintenance over the years will not be up to the same standards as, say, Singapore.

Does anyone have experience living in any of the other Pruksa properties for extended periods of time? Are they maintained to their original standards?

Note: I am half Thai. This is not meant to be a ethnocentric post. It is more of a concern for my personal design / living preferences.

Ive heard Pruksa do zero maintenance and cancel the garbage removal service once place is 100% occupied/sold and let it all build up in the basement to let the rats take it away.

Not sure if you are being serious or not, but after the place is 100% sold wouldn't it be up to the Juristic Body of owners to appoint maintenance/garbage contracts etc?

The Seed places are supposed to be pretty upmarket. This is obviously reflected in the price. I think what the holiest of holyies is saying is the key. If the Juristic team is good - you will be ok. Therefore, keep an eye on the management team and pressurise them when they fuck up. Best option is to try and keep a quality crew running the place and kick out the lazy (er) ones and ones that are on the take. If the Juristic Manager is honest, intelligent and has vision - the rest is plain sailing.

Get yourself on the commitee, so you can take an active role in deciding whats done, and who the management contract is given to.

Along with the family members of the building managers who control all the money!
