You guys are so cool helping out with great tips!

So if you would have time to help, I am flying into bkk end of Nov and was going drive at midnight 45 min w/taxi into bkk from the airport...so
this hotel near the airport will save me some time and I can sleep after my long trip. Will be great to check in so quickly.
For the next 3-4 days I will check into maybe "Pinnacle Sukhumvit Inn" or "Nantra De Comfort" these are around $27 or 810 bht a night. I want a single room though. Any thoughts? Then off to Chang Mai for 7 days. I found a brand new guest house for $300 bht a night. Any tips for Chang Mai to do?

Can I fly or have to drive to Khon Kaen from Chang Mai? Will check out Kalasin for two days.

How close can I fly from Khon Kaen to Rayong or do I need to fly back to bkk first. If so, what is a quick way to go to Rayong se of bkk? m You might ask why these two places and I am thinking of living in Thailand so this 15 day trip is to scope out the areas.

I appreciate any tips or infor you might have. Or P.M. me if need to.

    Thank you.

Lat Krabang might be your best bet, Stayed in a decent place there, think soi 20, 900bt per night + free airport shuttle.

also... is there good budget 3 months apartments you peeps could recommend?

number one place near the bangphil driving range seems to be very large apt complex, but im guessing many students, with really cramped up space... im guesssing banging noises 24/7
