    Bridges in Bangkok

Built and paid for 25 years ago by Mr Somboon Laolada the bridge has been named after him, he was probably bored of having to swim to his neighbours house.

No, but most of us were convinced you could walk on water.

Well, If he's going to take the pics from the bridge it would probably be better to rename the thread 'Canals in Bangkok'.

My favourite bridges are those that go from one side to the other.

    Bangkok Klongs

Again no bridge as it is just a big 10 lane road that crosses the Klong, should be called Klong filled with Black Death Disease, but probably called if I got it right Klong Pak Nam.

Hmmm....not exactly a romantic ensemble like the bridges of Madison County.

Heres's one ...in fact 2 ! I'm standing on one and the other one is way down the canal. This is down Atsadang Road.

On a wall in rural Thailand.

Did you know that the river cruise boats in Tokyo have roofs which can be lowered to fit under low bridges?
