Try : River City Centre, Bangkok, you can google it for the address. The top floors are full of antique shops but be prepared to haggle. Good monthly auction there too.
You could of course buy one from me in the UK !
Can't really suggest anywhere in Bangkok but River City would be OK if you want an expensive "antique".
If you want a more modern piece try to make a trip to Ang Sila between Pattaya and Bangkok; many shops there with a huge variety of stone carvings etc..

I saw a great one in a shop the other day but it's in Chiang Mai. If you're up here the guy is worth buying stuff from. He has 2 great shops in the city.
Is he an American by any chance with the first name starting with A?
Chattuchak weekend market or JJ Mall nearby.
^^ Could be the guy Bob but I thought he was Canadian
I'll PM you the name
Try around the Chakraphet Road area(little India) this is where I buy all my Indian spices. Many Indian shops selling everything
It wasn't my friend, so I can't help you.
Well the guy I know is defo reputable and good to deal with. He has a lot of sources. LMK if you want details where to to find him.
I would be delighted to have his business address and thank you.
Always looking for new sources for good stock.
I am off to Laos and Cambodia next week so grateful for any pointers, it keeps my suppliers on their toes when they know i have other/new contacts. Many thanks
