Cheap charlies in soi 11 doesn't really need a happy hour, and it's a short stagger to soi 7 with it's proliferation of bars that are bound to have one .
The best was in the late lamented Cathouse in Nana Plaza. "All you could drink" Chang from 4-8pm for 100 baht.
Had to watch your back though... Fights broke out there almost daily and the air was then full of flying bottles.
Shadow Bar on Cowboy is one of my favourites, great place to people watch as well.
And they had free Wifi for customers last time I was there.
Don't know the Happy Hour timings though, but I think it starts at noon.
^ Slap PJ about a bit and the prices are always happy
The bamboo bar on Soi 3 has 50 baht beers during happy hour. It's always empty when I visit and I never understand why.
Cheap Charlie's is the best because it's owned by Jackie Chan.
Spice girls Soi Cowboy 40 baht Chang till 830
I see Strikers and Stumble Inn have both shut on Soi 4 now.
What kind of pub are you looking for ?Originally Posted by angsta

^ Hey Kwang, where's my Branston Pickle?
FPs place, the Pintsman, does pints of Carlsburg (and others) for 100 baht during Happy Hour; pretty good for a nice place with a free dukebox, nice staff, etc.
^Do they serve Buffalo Wings, Bettyboo?...
Most non-aircon open beer bars sells beer at reasonable prices and I want to know which Bangkok bars has the cheapest lady drinks as that is the part of my bill that destroys me
^^^ She only put one jar in there mate. I told her to stick a couple in. I have a couple of Fray Bentos pies that I have no oven for.
You are welcome to put one of them in your oven and serve it to me
Me too buddy. there's a place down here with some right munters that I was paying 120 baht for.Originally Posted by Loy Toy

Thanks Kwang that was exactly what I was looking for. The soi 4/cowboy thing is an option for later but basically I was looking for some daytime drinking options. Should of been more specific.
I know a couple of bars have closed but soi 4 still has some cheap drinks before 8?
The pintsman, will check that out as well.
Thanks.
Define cheap drinks? 80baht? 100baht? 7-11 baht?Originally Posted by angsta
Robin Hood pretty cheap at 80baht a pint. Get there at the start of Happy Hour 4pm drink till 7pm then you could rock up to Clubhouse on Soi 23, their Happy Hour continue till 9pm I believe. Since it's within stumbling distance of Cowboy, you could continue giving your mates misguided tour there.
Good luck
Misguided is the word. Robin Hood looks like an excellent choice for afternoon drinks.
Cheers.

It can be confirmed that there are plans to transplant Strikers Sports Bar to the space that was known as Nana Beer Garden, in the Raja Hotel car park. Aware that foot traffic seems to stop at a certain point on Sukhumvit soi 4, the owner realises that a special effort will be needed to get customers. The owner promises that the new Strikers will be at least as nice as the original - the design is nearly complete and construction should start soon. The new venue will not just be more comfortable, it will be twice the size and have twice as many Brunswick pool tables. They will also increase the compliment of attractive ladies. Strikers has developed a reputation for staff that who are as friendly as they are fun, yet they do not push themselves on customers which the venue does not allow.
