What happened to the Legless Fool?

I have a strange interest in weird and lost souls, which somehow mostly get stranded in Thailand. One of the best examples, and probably the most easily accessible because he posted the story of his continuous decline all over the Internet, was Ian Reed - the self-declared "Legless Fool in Thailand" (among other strange titles).
His online blog stopped being updated last year in September, shortly before the floods.
Does anyone here have an idea what happened to him?

Seems he mainly got screwed for 6k pounds, got off lightly as far as cash goes.

As nidhogg alluded to, someone is paying the rent/hosting fees on his website. Therefore it could be a reasonable assumption to speculate that he is not missing, but just choosing not to be contacted.

I don't know if he actually did move to Cambodia after all, but this are posts from 2013 - so he didn't drown in the floods of 2011 as I suspected.
