Best Pharmacy in Bangkok

Anyone have any recommendations of pharmacies in Bangkok?

I have been to Chulalongkorn University's pharmacy during my last trip here but some of the US prescription medication (like testosterone) has recreational use so they would not sell it. I got it at Bumrungrad hospital but it was super expensive. Would welcome any other pharmacy suggestions with contact/address. Thanks.

What did you pay for it at Bumrungrad? It's between 3-4k in Pattaya. Chulalongkorn's pharmacy will only sell it with a prescription, along with all the other popular farang candies.

Try Mr Medicine on the Srinakarin Rd. You can find them opposite Makro and Carrefour

The best pharmacy is on the north side of Sukhumvit near Soi 15, maybe someone else knows the name of it, sorry I can't be more specific, but they have just about everything except adderall or xanax. Very cheap too and appear honest.

If you walk past soi 4 (Nana), pass the petrol station with the Mcdonalds and there it is on you left hand side.
Can't miss it.
Had mates buy all sorts from there.

Must be like London buses. Will sniff yours out on my next visit but never had a ploplem with the pharmacy next to the Majestic Suites; turn right into Sukhumvit from soi 4 and it's on the right.

Don't quite remembers. Just remembered maxed out my credit card :-). Beside the "farang candies" is Chulalongkorn's pharmacy the best place in terms of price/not fake medication? Thanks for all the other recommendations.

Yes - the bigger one, next to Bully's Pub - is by far the best Pharmacy I have found in Bangkok; extensive Stock, knowledgeable Staff and they speak good English too.

Go to Villa supermarket sukhumvit soi 11 BKK , inside complex right hand side next to massage shop is a pharmacy , talks good english will sell you anything without prescription , always argue the price , he's the cheapest in BKK , if not in stock he will go and get it for you , no problem .

If you are sick and staying nearby Khao San Road , you can choose between going to see a hospital good for severe cases or cosult a real pharmacist in some pharmacies(In Thailand 0nly 20% of pharmacies attended by pharmacists). Going to Hostipal or clinic costs you at least 2,000 baht(around 70 USD) when compared to pharmacy which will cost you no more than 500 baht (around 18 USD). A question arises where I can find any pharmacy that can understand my symtoms or sicknessess. Here there is a clinical pharmacist in a pharmacy on Samsen road just 800 metres away from Khao San Road (GPS 13.767147,100.500183 ) where you can find a English-speaking Pharmacist. All minor ailments such as diarrhea, cold, cough, sorethroat, allergy, nausea, vomitting, peptc ulcer, heartburn, muscle pain, anti-inflammation drugs, after/before mosquito bite etc. This pharmacy has run since 1985 by a Clinical Pharmacist from Chulalongkorn University ( the most accreditted university of Thailand).
How to get there: use GPS 13.767147,100.500183,

or starting from Khao San Police station which located on Samsen Road, just walk along Samsen Road heading to the North. When you cross a Bang Lumpoo Bridge, keep walking on the right side of Samen Road. Passing Samsen 2, Samsen 4, once you pass Smsen 6 , you almost arrive this pharmacy, it is 10 metres before the bus stop.Its name is Chumchon Ya, 144 Samsen Road.

Time for my med shopping trip again . Any updates or new feedbacks on where best to get my refills? Last time (2 years ago) I went to the Chum University Pharmacy and the larger one next to Nana/Bully's Pub (for the meds that Chum will not provide). I'm still here ticking away so I guess the meds were ok.
