^ Well, that's the Samsonite fukced then
^Nah, they own 75% OF Bic!
The last time I lost anything was over 20 years ago flying from BKK to LHR, it was February and I travelled in a pair of "flip flops" for comfort
I had 3 pairs of shoes in my check in luggage to change into when we got to London as it was not only cold but snow was on the ground!
They stole all my shoes
Since then I have lost nothing, I travel a lot, I never lock anything - maybe that way it looks like you have something to loose? and if they want to get in they are going too, also I never put anything of any value in a check in baggage, you are asking for trouble....
I flew back in february, Bangkok-Heathrow. My checked ijn suitcase had 2 bottles of samsong and 2 cartons of cigerettes. I did`nt bother to lock the case. I arrived in heathrow to find no disturbance and nothing missing.I never put anything of value in my case.
...and I always fly wearing my flip-flops...
Beat me to it; flipflops, on a plane; nooooooooooo...Originally Posted by Koojo

I hate it when you trustingly check all your luggage through and then when you get to your destination you discover some fucker has stuck 4kgs of dope in with your boogie board. BASTARDS.
I arrived back in Manchester from BKK via Doha. I saw that the padlock had been broken off my suitcase. Real tricky for it to break off as it is secured by an external web belt. I thought as there is *uck all of worth in the case why bother - as it looks and is a well worn naff case to boot.
Then I had a thought - it is not what has gone out but what could have been placed in!
So off I went to the 'Goods To Declare' channel. I explained what had happened to my case. The customers officer asked where I had departed from and when I replied BKK I was told, "No problem, just go through". And that was it. I could have two kilos of 'ice' in there.
Anyway as soon as I get out of customers I open the case up - nothing missing or added. Mystery as to why the padlock was broken off though.
In summary all the times I have flown that is the first time of any evidence of luggage abuse.
Honi soit qui mal y pense
