How long are you staying for ?
Oh, and welcome Mick
what web site is that?
I live on Soi 3, never heard of the place
Sorry Mick, i just re-read your post.
They do better rates when you book for a month
^Sitara Place Apartment | Bangkok, Thailand
Aye. Not a convenient location for a visitor to walk anywhere. Even to go to Lotus you really need a moto. I have an apt on Soi 3 for 8 years but very rarely stay there. 6000 a month is my rent.
There's a review on Tripadvisor

Japanese review translated
The basic apartment is rented month, as service apartments to rent it weekly. Silom and Sukhumvit upscale neighborhood in SA but also 及Bubeku, etc. If you are well furnished and decorated rooms, apartments in this area is outstanding. The apartment is run by pro-Japanese Indian parents, I think that part may be different from Kichitto slob Thais.
The map is in Thai on that site.
That'll help you find it easily...not.
Typical.
Thanks for all your posts. Just one thing. In the Japanese translation of hotel review it refers to "Kichitto slob Thais". Anyone know what these are? Am I likely to bump into one?!! Thanks again!
I wouldn't trust Google to translate Mick
Theyre useless
Are you interested about hearing about other places Mick ?
There's a place in On Nut, 5000 baht a month, has cable, Wifi, TV, double bed, cutlery, toaster, kettle, microwave, clean too, all for 5000 baht a month. you need to pay a months deposit, which you get back
That was last year though.
^ sounds good, any details available
It's called 93 building and is on Sukhumvit Soi 93 on the left hand side, immediately after you go over the hump back bridge.
It was walkable to On Nut BTS, but you could get a motocy taxi there
I had a friend stay there last year, and other BTS stations are operational now, so it might be closer to one now.
It looks like Bang Chak BTS
