    Sydney to Coffs Harbour

TizShe and I did a trip from Sydney to Coffs at the end of August.

Spent 3 nights at Port Macquarie, 2 at Coffs Harbour and then another at Forster on the way back to Sydney.

I caught up with an old school friend that lives in Port Mac that I hadn't seen in nearly 40 years.

We stopped at quite a few beaches along the way, but it was still far too cold for either of us to get wet beyond our toes.

That is a neat trick TizMe since it is normally not possible to fix up the YouTube https by editing.

    Really enjoyed that.

My partner smiled when she watched the bit with your wife drinking a white wine and all rugged up.

What software did you use to make it?

    Good integration of the stills/clips/captions.

After Coffs, did you continue north or just head back to Sydney?

I've always wanted to take the kids to the Dubbo Zoo.

Pity the poor old Aucklanders. And diesel vehicle owners pay an additional tax on Km's.

You have to actually delete/remove the evil url with the s posted and replace it in the post with the new url without the s (rather than trying to edit the same url that caused the problem).

Thanks for all the nice comments.

The video post processing is all done using Davinci Resolve.
Get a free copy here: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/pro...avinciresolve/
Its really a great piece of software, and the best part is that its free. The only thing missing from the paid version is group collaboration. They have versions for OSX, Windows and Linux.

The titles I created using iMovie, and then integrated them into Davinci Resolve.
The newest version of DR also has many good title generators in it as well.

We only went as far as Coffs. Spent 2 nights there and then headed back to Sydney.
Of each place we visited, we both enjoyed Port Macquarie the most. Glad we booked 3 nights there.
Forster was a bit of an anti-climax. I had some great times there as a teenager / young adult with surfing mates, but without the surfing its a bit boring. The lakes view is worth the detour though between Forster and Bulahdelah.

TizShe is already planning to revisit in summer, when we'll be brave enough to venture into the water, but she is a bit concerned about sharks, crocodiles, box jellies, blue ringed octopus etc...

Nice. Makes me a little homesick. Spent my teenage years north of there near Kyogle and Lismore. Later spent my early twenties in Nambucca Heads and Kempsey for three years working in a bank and playing rugby league for the towns and a few group rep games.
