Good on you, BenBaa. I was around when Tubular Bells came out and all my friends thought it was an astonishing piece of music at that time. I liked Hergest Ridge too. But Ommadawn didn't grab me, I'm afraid. Maybe I'd heard too much of his style by then.
Here, Yutaka Yokokura plays koto (a Japanese stringed instrument) to Brazilian-inspired music he has written. He was actually Sergio Mendes' musical director for 5 years, however he's not that well known. And he's dropped out of sight now.
