It is difficult to choose an overall favourite since tastes change over the years. I have, at different times, appreciated:

    Diana Ross
    Aphrodite's child
    Shocking Blue
    Earth and Fire
    Led Zeppelin
    Jefferson Airplane
    The Who
    Pulp
    Joe Satriani
    Cowboy Junkies

For me, no other band was as much fun to see live as this one.

This guy was on my list. Would probably make top 5. I believe he would be absolutely huge, if it wasn't for his complete lack of personality. The bloke is so painfully shy, it was almost embarrassing when I saw him live. He can't even look at the audience, and mutters quietly to himself. If he was an outgoing fun bloke, I reckon he would be big business. Shame really.

If you want to know what I meant about being shy!! Cracking track though.

Fuck it one more. This blokes voice does me in.

I think all their albums have been great, they're in my top 5, but for me they are two different bands. One that made the first two albums, and then another that mellowed and commercialised, and made the rest. I would give anything for them to have stayed as raw as they were in the beggining.

One of them said recently, that he can't even listen to the first albums anymore, because he thinks they're so bad. They just wanted to go in a complete different direction, was it comletely artistic, or completely money orientated. Or probably a combination of the two.

    My fave off the latest.

One of my faves of the early stuff.

^Me too, much prefer the early stuff. I think I like the 2nd album more than the first.

Sorry, but their latest is utter dogshit. Listened to it twice and haven't given it a second thought since. I used to love KOL, my favourite is actually their third, where I thought they peaked. It's all downhill from here I'm afraid.

Yeah, they're like a wonderful drug. A bit mystifying at first, but the more you experience the better the experience.

    This is awesome as well.

I can understand why a lot of people might say that. I guess it all depends on how big a fan you were in the first place. If they're one of your top 5 favourite artists of all time, it's not going to be easy to find one of their albums 'dog shit'. If you're that big a fan, and think Caleb Followill's voice is that good, you're still going to enjoy a slightly bellow par album.

The Fall, or rather Mark E. Smith and whatever bunch of musicians he's had around him at the time
30 year, some albums I don't like, most i do and like a mix of their old and new

John Cale - another 'lifetime' musician', actually pre-dates my music listening with his Velvet Underground stuff

I tend to like one song from each of their albums, so I'll be happy when they're made 10 so I can do a 'Greatest Hits' package.
