![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ten Best Rock Guitarists I know there is another thread that asks about the best guitarists in the world, but I think that is too broad for me being a rock fan. Who would you say are the 10 best rock guitarists in the world? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Depends if you're talking about technique or enjoyment. For me Angus Young is my favourite guitarist, but he's technically 'retarded' compared with some of the fret wankers along the lines of Malmsteen/Satriani/Vai. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have also seen BB King, but when I started this thread, I was thinking Rock and not Blues or R&B so they should be left out. Slash and Neil Young are also favorites of mine, but not in my personal top 10, and no you don't have to be over 50 to contibute. My 22 year old son is a Slash fan and would probably put him at number one. |

![]() | Frank Zappa? I'd say George Benson, Jerry Douglas, and Albert Lee, but that's stretching the boundaries of rock a bit too far, but then you are including Django Reinhardt! |
