Well a close call with the Bowie concert I had to endure in the mid 1980's when he decided not to play any of his older material.

I was so disappointed as he toured with Carlos Alomar and Peter Frampton as his lead guitarists and they hardly played a lead between the 2 of them. And sitting there watching Roger Waters trying to pull off Pink Floyd standards without the rest of the band was a shambles. He also toured with Snowy White and Andy Fairweather Low and I was really pissed off as I also missed the piss-up with them in Nana Plaza after the gig.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The Van Morrison version is excellent. It was on the soundtrack to the recent version of The Departed. One of the very view songs (Comfortably Numb - not just this version) that I can play and play and play and never tire of hearing. Last edited by Gallowspole : 19-04-2010 at 08:35 AM. |
