    The Tracks of My Years

Old tunes trigger memories.Listenng to BBC they have desert Island discs where celebrities choose 8 tracks for their sojourn.

I'll try and find some memorable items though cannot promise dates 100%, some before my time but seemed to be endlessly played Volare, That's Amore

    1953
seemd to always be playing as a child

    1954

    Utterly surreal video

    1955
    Crooning

    1956

    1957
    Rock awakes

    1958
    Dreamy

    1959
I used to have a job at a calendar factory.
    I got the sack because
I took a couple of days off.

Soundly in Brixton thru crackly speakers the "Sooties" astonished us with their home made cigarettes and endless invites to bring our gals to the blues

Ska had arrived, greatest archivist DJ Derek of the Star and Garter Montpelier

Your Brooks Benton YouTube above reminded me of the first music I remember hearing. My mother was crazy for him and played his music often.
