Two points. And this is for the sake of the Shifters. It's not about ego or masturbation or blue eyed, doe eyed ews, goat eyed ews, ew eyed goats, masturbation over owe eyed goats or anything of that personal and emotional nature. It's about Jimi and his brief momens without the love of goats.

    Anyways, I have two.

&, for you fuked up confused muthers who just don't understand the vibrations involved, I have two.

I bought meself a christmas present, and it is spectacularly good.

MIJ Fender 62 Custom; these MIJ Fenders are top quality, hard to get, and a lot cheaper than the same quality US Fender. A USA Fender AVRI 62 (now they've changed to a 64) which is a great guitar costs US$2000. I upgraded the pups to a 5-way switch, and also put in AVRI64 pickups. I found the best price in Japan, negotiated cheap international delivery, paid 18% Korean import tax (the 5% Japanese sales tax was deducted), including the upgrades it came to just over US$1000. Plays great, sounds great, is great.

Nice... give it some OD off the bridge, through the solid state amp and punk it right up, or off the neck through the valve amp for that classic Fender blues sound.

Got those vintage tuners on my Strat, a bit fiddly to get going when you restring.
If I could be arsed I'd replace them. Luckily though..

I've had the same set of Curt Mangam 9.5 nickel wound strings on it for about a year and the the tone hasn't dulled on them at all, lovely tone for blues.. rock... really impressive.. bash the fook out of them way beyond what I could with standard Slinky.. the fuckers will prolly give out on me now I said that. Highly recommended.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

I don't think I can do the home studio, but I'm doing alright on pedals! I actually just ordered a new pedalboard, power supply and custom patch cables.

I ordered up a Pedalboard junior, so I should be able to get 10 pedals on it with the PSU under. The wife will be happy when she sees it...

I've just been playing the tele clean through a little VOX I bought.

I was using the wah with the Earthquaker Devices Tonebender style fuzz with a tad of reverb from the Keeley and some delay from the TC pedal - quite a lot of fun it was.

Talking about pedals, I recently got one of these:

It is simply the best pedal I've ever owned.

I set it where I have some nice crunchy fuzz then I dial back the volume to a nice overdriven sound with the option of dialling back a bit more for clean. Sounds amazing through my telecaster and Randall.

I'm thinking about getting a new guitar pedal - should be perfect for The Shifters.

must haves for guitarists who misses every 2nd chord.

Thanks, and a fully qualified one I should add.
As young engineer I worked 5 years as service department manager for a major Japanese music instrument mfgr without being able to learn to manage any music instrument during that time.
Thinking about trying with maracas now..

Good news for The Shifters: I'm taking music in a new direction!

Due to the fact that I'm utter shite on the geetar, I've turned to bass hoping less strings will be easier...
