Are the regular Thai tv channels screening all the games? Does anybody know?
Attention cable-television subscribers - you'll want to track down your old TV antenna if you care anything about football and want to watch the Uefa European Football Championship.
Soccer fanatics are strongly advised to secure their antenna now because the things will be flying off the shelves as the June 8 kick-off approaches.
Thanks to GMM Grammy, which won the broadcasting rights, Thai viewers will be able to watch Euro 2012 on free-to-air TV but not on cable as in the past.
If you don't have an analogue TV antenna, all you'll see is a blank TV screen during the Euro matches.
Of course, there are a few ways around the problem.
If you have a C-band or KU-band satellite dish you can watch if you have a GMM Z box from Grammy.
High-definition viewers can buy a gadget called DTV-HD1 for around Bt4,900 from the DTV satellite-cable operator. And then you can watch the Euro matches in hi-def.
