Dylan Elise is a 16 year old drummer playing at the Tauranga National Jazz Festival in New Zealand and he's pretty good. Seriously though, this guy does the most amzing stuff I've ever seen done in the drumming world. To see more of Dylan look at the response vidoes.

Amazing drum solo during Blink 182's encore in the AECC, aberdeen. Recorded with Panasonic TZ10.

For those still curious to the backing soundtrack: The Glitch Mob - Matty G - West Coast Rocks (credit to swat7853 for finding it!)

    ^ He's very good.

Seems to lack musicality, if that's a word.

The essence seems to be more in performance thane music.

But heh, what do I know?

Here is a Duet, maybe too agressive for some, but good. Starts at 1:22 ends at 3:08 great on the dirt bike!

Drum solos bore me to death but I like good rhythms such as this one from one of the greatest drummers ever.

I loathed Phil Collins whenever he opened his mouth, but as a drummer . . . the drum duet was a feature of the Genesis tours, either with Chester Thompson or Bill Bruford

A scientific expedition disembarks from its plane at the final outpost of civilisation in the deepest Amazon rain forest. They immediately notice the ceaseless thrumming of native drums.
As they venture further into the bush, the drums never stop, day or night, for weeks.
The lead scientist asks one of the natives about this, and the native's only reply is "Drums good. Drums never stop. Very bad if drums stop."
The drumming continues, night and day, until one night, six weeks into the trip, when the jungle is suddenly silent.
Immediately the natives run screaming from their huts, covering their ears.
The scientists grab one boy and demand "What is it? The drums have stopped!"
The terror-stricken youth replies "Yes! Drums stop! Very bad!"
The scientists ask "Why? Why? What will happen?"
    Wide-eyed, the boy responds, " . . . BASS SOLO!!!"

but that would be another thread.

I never got to the drum solo as the music before it kicked in was some of the most horrendous noise, I can't really call it music was just too awful
how on earth did they ever get a recording contract ?

Wow, that was worth the admission fee alone.
Bill Bruford from King Crimson ?, memories come flooding back to me now - sorry that was Roger Waters.

Phill Collins' cover was O.K I suppose, but I prefer the original version.

The Amen Break... the most recognisable and (over)used drum solo in the history of music.

taken from 'Amen Brother' by The Winstons (solo starts at 1.25)

In the UK at the moment and I popped round my brothers. He brought his 12 year old son a pearl drum kit and boy the lad can play.

If I knew how to post vids I'd stick it up on here.
