| put UBCD4win on a USB stick and see what you think
I used to burn it onto a disk and boot it to disinfect computers , but I would be burning a new disk everytime I updated the malware ref files for the progs I was using. Now I have it on a USB stick as most comps will boot from USB and I just update the refs onto it.
I have recovered HD's using UBCD4win that made sounds like the charge of the light brigade when they spun.
