Vmax is powerful, rode with our demented mechanic on it. He was keeping up with us 200+ going to Kabin Buri, hurling the thing into the bends, two up. Not my idea of fun.

I didn't think bikes could produce that much power, especially from such a lo-tech engine.

I once sniffed a used condom from my old flat-mates bin to see what she smelled like.

Thanks Ned as it been a battle to get this far but will be worth it when done, To put risers on I have to change the upper triple tree as its the standard buell type. I tried a set of I guess you would call them half apes and with the low seat postion felt pretty good, next test ride is monday with the new bars.
As for paint everyone is telling me dont paint it black with yellow flames and they even have me worried now but because I am such a stubben prick I am sticking to my guns

    ^ Nope

Just how I pictured it in my head after NEdwalk's description.

Basically black with silver flames, with a purple pinstripe around the outside of the flames.

I've been looking around for a trickle charger for the W and found these,

Find the right battery charger - MULTI XS 3600

They seem like the best ones out there, 4 stage charging, desulphation and a pulse trickle so you can leave them connected for months. About $70 on ebay.

Just make sure you get the 220v ones...110v ones are denoted US.

Better than coming home to a flat battery, starting batteries don't like to be fully discharged and could save you in the long run. They also come with lugs and a connector so you can hard wire it to your batt and just plug it in. You can buy more of these so even your wife can change it from one bike to another without blowing it up

    Yes good idea
The shadow battery has just died again, I think it was about a year old and I havent ridden it much in the last 12 months. I had my ducati set up with a external plug in Australia and left it pluged in while I was at work, worked well

I wonder ow much are they in Thailand? I can get them on ebay for $70 out of Canada with free shipping (not sure if it's free to Thailand but says international...) Assume it's canadian $. Probably easier to have them sent in.

^ What??!! Are you mad? My mate has to kick his Honda and if he stalls on a hill, by the time he starts it he is too knackered to ride up it. Me, I just hit the electric boot and cruise by him while he is stuck kickin' and cursin'.
