Given your own statements regarding the "libs" propensity for only being concerned with welfare recipients and the like at the expense of the business community (Wall Street), I'm not sure why you figured passing a GWB initiated bill which would bailout Wall Street would be unanimously supported by the "libs". On the other side of the isle, the Republicans failed to get even close to a majority of folks to vote yes on a GWB initiated bill which would benefit "business". The nay votes on both sides of the isle were driven by the overwhelming objection of their constituent's who believe the bill as initially proposed and then "modified" is fundamentally flawed and not needed. A conclusion I am in agreement with.
