Another outstanding view, there is certainly a great deal of variation in this photograph.
This was a really pleasant looking place we came across close to Ambleside and in the small area known as Langdale.
The Three Shires. It was a small hotel, very attractive, about ten rooms I think The Landlord said when I enquired.
We had a spot of lunch there too. I should have photographed the plates, they looked good, especially the large Cumberland Sausages.
Afterthoughts!
It was an attractive looking place inside. Can't say I felt happy about the Fox head over the fireplace, but I understand country living, they have a manner of culling which they deem to be correct, I'd always respect their ways.
