And I don't see her going out tonight and saying she was born the daughter of coal miners and was the first in her fam to graduate from uni and then says she was in the top half of her class (all lies) and then found to have copied someone else's report verbatim for a uni exam. Oh ya, that was DEM VP nominee Biden who told all those lies and couldn't recollect -- did they vet him for senility or is he just a really big fat liar?

Poor Obama, he's trying to attack McCain with his "he just doesn't get it" push and deriding Palin for being a small town mayor (don't forget her governorship, now, BO) -- while he is in charge of a huge campaign and budget. WTF does that have to do with governance?

That's all fine and well but it doesn't really sit to well with the fact that one of the main points that opponents of Obama keep bringing us is his alleged 'inexperience'.

Effective with her daughter? Sometimes people slip up. They take their eye off the ball, whatever you wish to call it. Sarah's daughter slipped up. Christians can accept that.

Butterfly - What can be done today? Obama could practice what he preaches. His favorite quote from the bible he likes to pull out to call for more government programs, “whatever you do for the least of my brothers, you do for me.”, he could apply that to himself and send his brothers and sisters living in tin shacks in Africa some money to improve their lives. He could sponsor them to come to the USA, but he doesn't. How could there be a greater hypocrite? His family languishes, while he quotes the bible to justify big government laying guilt on the American public.

"The McCain campaign has vigorously denied a report in the National Enquirer magazine that the Republican's vice-presidential pick, Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin has had an extramarital affair with her husband's business partner.

The story, which appeared just hours before Governor Palin was due to address the Republican convention, was branded " scurrilous" by the chief strategist, Steve Schmidt. He said it was totally untrue.

"The smearing of the Palin family must end. The allegations contained on the cover of the National Enquirer insinuating that Gov. Palin had an extramarital affair are categorically false. It is a vicious lie," said Mr Schmidt.

"The efforts of the media and tabloids to destroy this fine and accomplished public servant are a disgrace. The American people will reject it."

It follows revelations earlier in the week that Ms Palin's 17-year-old daughter, Bristol, was five months pregnant and planned top marry the father Levi Johnston and have the baby.

Ms Palin is expected to castigate the media in her speech at 12.30pm Eastern Australian time.
