| Lets take a look at your average TEFLer in Thailand, they done a 4 week course and bought a Khao San Road degree, so for a start we know they have no qaulms about cheating and missrepresenting themselves, committing fraud etc etc, the majority do not have valid work permits for the work they do, ie privates etc, so they are more than willing to work illegally and also to evade tax etc, so far they don't look so good do they...
But how many native English speakers are there working in Thailand as TEFLers? Lets say 10,000, so why the fok is the level of English so shite in Thailand compared to other Asian countries?
