| I would highly recommend "Home Place" in Sukhumvit Soi 33. About halfway down the soi on the right and when driving from Sukumvit and in a small sub-soi on the right. You will see the sign.
Nice BIG clean rooms, the showers and air con works and I pay 1,200 Baht per night.
Close to all the bars and restaurants, quite location, sky train> 5 minutes walk and I have never had to book, just walk in. The best kept secret in that area and as far as accomodation IMO.
