Sorry that isn't quite true, Operation Demetrius or Internment ran in Northern Ireland from 1971 till 1975, it is widely known that this internment increased terrorist activity and boosted membership of terrorist groups

Think most likely McCain will be elected, however either way - Yanks will be in Iraq for a very long time. Don't buy into this withdraw by Osama - he's already hedging and dare say if he gets in, you will get - well I didnt have the info I have now - we need to stay. He is simply playing politics, and trying to not let it out on where he is position wise.
