It's not going to work this way, IMO.
The GOP is different that it was in 1994. The '94 Repubs are long gone - this was 14 years ago.
Dems muck up? How is the GOP any different?
The current National Debt is $9 Trillion. SS and Medicare is starting its roll downhill as the first boomer started collecting on Jan., 1, 2008.
As I've said before: both parties are more similar than different and basically support the same major foundational things.
