"Yippee Ki Yay Motherf**ker"
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,, a fucking movie,, lots of shit happens in a movie that will not happen anyplace else..
What the fuck Norty..
Sure lots of things happen in movies that don't happen anywhere else. But lots of things happen in real life that would be OTT even in a movie. The post I made was to illustrate my opposition to those that advocate or imply the US would be a better place if everyone was packin heat. Somehow the logic escapes me unless we want to relive our wild west past.Originally Posted by blackgang

not only that, but they want to be able to carry concealed weapons in places that serve alcohol.Originally Posted by Norton

Nort, packing concealed is not going to cause folks to act like Bobby Redford and Paul Newman in Bolivia.
I packed most of the time I was in states where it was legal, Most places you can not pack into a courthouse or into saloons.
But if something did come down you would be better off with one that without.
Just like some dudes always pack condoms in their wallet and wear a dozen out and they never get to use one and so they quit packing, and that very day they meet up with a honey of a nymph in a bar, run out to get one and when they get back she has already left with another dude.
Never hurts to pack and be ready..
When imminent danger is only seconds away, the nearest cop is minutes away..![]()
spare us the hackneyed colloquialisms 'pardner'.....these jokers went to fudruckers with concealed weapons.Originally Posted by blackgang

I bet you that no dude ever came across Ray baby without any condoms that ever went home with a load in his poke. bunch of barebackers.
Lots easier to pack a gun than it is a cop....

G_D, Guts & Guns!
A Missouri car dealer has launched a special giveaway: $250 worth of gas…or a free semi-automatic handgun.
Need a new car? How about a new handgun, too?
You can get both at the Max Motors car dealership in Butler, Mo. And the gun is free…
Buyers can choose either the $250 gun coupon or one of equal value for gasoline…
Moore knows a “Free Handgun” ad would probably draw protests in some places, but not in Butler, about an hour south of Kansas City on U.S. 71.
“Down here we all believe in God, guts and guns,” Moore said.
That’s in one of those “states in the middle,” says BO![]()

here's your problem boon mee....IMO most americans wouldn't approve...and it would be interesting know what local law enforcement thinks about this.Originally Posted by Boon Mee

this is your latest example of 'traditional values'?
get a grip blog boy.
and you've avoided the point......do you think most americans would approve of used car salesmen giving away semi automatic weapons? do you think local law enforcement approves?
these are yes or no questions boon mee.

Boys with toys?
Most americans do approve of gun ownership. That is why we still have the right to bear arms. Most, not all, american families have many guns in their home. There is nothing wrong with that as long as they are under the control of a responsible adult.
You can be sure that if one gets a gun for free, they still have to follow the rules for ownership or lic. Training, etc. before they can legally own it.
training? what are you on about?Originally Posted by ceburat

But most law enforcement see nothing wrong with people owning legal firearms, and yes most carry permits are only issued to schooled recipients and veterans with military arms training.
Now this is pretty clear, even a washed out queer can pobly read it but I do not know about understanding it..

Dealer Offers Free Gun With Car Purchase
POSTED: 9:26 pm CDT May 20, 2008 UPDATED: 10:30 pm CDT May 20, 2008
BUTLER, Mo. -- A local car dealer is holding a controversial promotion involving guns.
Max Motors in Butler is offering anyone who buys a car the choice of $250 in gas or a free semi-automatic handgun.
"Like I say, it's a choice -- protection or gas," said Walter Moore with Max Motors.
Moore said he came up with the gas or guns promotion.
"We got high gas prices, theft, carjackings, innocent people getting hurt," Moore told KMBC's Chris Nagus.
So far, the handgun is a more popular choice.
"Right now were running 80 percent toward the gun," Moore said.
"Love guns, we all need to have guns," said Jerry Hertzog, who was buying a new truck. "Guns or gas or fuel, I'll take the gun anytime."
But the idea isn't popular with everyone. One viewer told KMBC that he believes the promotion is dangerous.
"I don't understand what's the bad idea. Telling people they have a right to protect themselves," Moore said.
Moore said most of his customers already own weapons.
"I get in a vehicle to bid a trade, there are guns in the seats, guns in the back windows. Everybody has a gun -- there's no backlash," Moore said.
Moore said the dealership will hand the customer a certificate to get the gun, but you must pass a background check.
The local police chief said he is OK with the promotion as long as the weapons aren't handed out at the dealership

The article does not answer the question.
Do you understand what the question is, wino?
I've never owned a gun.
My father had a BB gun when he was a young boy, otherwise never owned a gun.
I have three brothers who have never owned a gun.
I have two sisters -- one's husband never owned a gun, one's husband has a deer rifle for hunting in upstate NY.
I've only lived in the States for seven years of my adult life, but during those times, the vast majority of friends and coworkers didn't have guns. I've never been robbed or seen a gun used in public. Although I carried a gun at work every day during a four-year stretch, I don't think they belong in the hands of irresponsible people. And there's no good way to legislate that with all the moonbats demanding justice and equality for all.
I think there are gun enthusiasts and those that don't care for them. I certainly do not agree with ceburat's claim that most American families have many guns in their home. It's not been my experience.
Guns are legal if registered properly and as the local police chief said ^^^ as long as they're given away in accordance with the law, it's no different than a bank giving away a toaster for every newly opened account.

Well, I certainly do agree with ceburat. Growing up in southern Calif. my family has always had firearms in the house and I was taught how to use them (rifles, shotguns, revolvers, autos) with respect. Can't think of any of the families I grew up around that didn't have at least a revolver in the house. Living in Thailand & now back in Brazil, my wife has always had a 9mm or 38 around the house for safety when I'm on the road. It just makes sense...
It's just another tool for Christ's sake...![]()
yeah great.
how about the questions boon mee? or are you just going to continue to dodge?
and while you're at it, please explain how this is an example of 'traditional' valuesOriginally Posted by raycarey
It says at the end of the article what the local police think, but I knew that the queers could not understand it.
TEX, I was raised in Central Oregon and damn near all guys are hunters and have deer, elk, Antelope and other wild game as food every year, and we had a lot of guns in my dads house as when he got one even if he would never use it again when it was replaced, he never got rid of a gun., and everyone in town that I knew and knew everyone, there was guns in every house, some many and some only 1 but they did have guns, almost every saddle that you would see hanging in a barn tack room would have a rifle scabbard on it.Originally Posted by blackgang
