I heard that he killed himself because he knew Beulls were going to be invented. That's how fucking hard Steve McQueen was, and how determined he was that he didn't want see a bike as gay as a Beull!!

I've only owned one bike in Thailand.

A Kawasaki Zephyr 750. Lovely bike, but the radiator was far too small - being air cooled, overheating was a massive problem here . Sold it about 8 years ago as I'd had one too many close calls on it and knew it would kill me sooner or later.

Only in traffic it becomes a problem and have yet to see a bike that doesnt get hot sitting at a traffic light every 2 minutes. Australia, Oman are all hotter places and have had air cooled bike in both of them with out to much trouble. A good oil cooler is a good investment

Wouldn't that exhaust be dangerous without heat proof pants?
I seem to remember burning the shit out of myself on an old Honda scrambler which had a similar exhaust setup.

Also the name "scrambler" doesn't hit me right. Probably because my brain is already "scrambled". I don't need no additional "scrambling" from some "scrambler"!

My virago is bad enough but if you lean around a sweeper and are going commando.. i am sure you could burn your balls on that exhaust.

Oil cooled and traffic lights suck.

    Good news from Kawasaki

Happy to report that finally the Kawasaki Big Bike showroom in Bangkok is accepting orders for the new 2008 Ninja 250R.
Also happy to announce that the price is less than the rumored 150,000 - 180,000 price that has been floating around on various forums.
Price before tax and registration is 139,900
    7% tax is 9479
They will start delivering the new bikes in the next week Very Happy
    Let the good times roll!
From the thread over at gt-rider.com

The 250 enduro is due out soon also
