Who was that, then? Michelle's dad had a good job and her mom didn't have to work. Barry's mom ditched him with her parents for awhile, who seemed to be pretty well off. I don't see any real struggling in either case, except that his mom had a penchant for exotic men and dumped her kid to go "find herself".

Huh? I saw the clip of her having a beer and a shot of Crown Royal. She was so busy talking to her minders about where to go for lunch, etc, that she turned her back to the "folks" that were there for most of her "have a beer with the folks" session. OK, I gotta watch the O'Reilly clip.
