Here's a few of the measures put in place recently regarding bins.
Collected once a fortnight (rats are running amok)
Microchips secretly fitted in bins to make sure that we don't throw out too much rubbish
Plastic, paper & glass must be stored seperately (or they leave it on the road), only for all the seperated rubbish to go on the same pile at the dump
Bins not collected if they are deemed to be 'too heavy' (they are lifted by the truck, the bin men only have to wheel them about).
The list goes on.
