actually, for the last 7 years the republicans have
borrowed and over spent. of course the super rich got significant tax cuts while most americans only got a few hundred bucks. but the insane spending that went on during the two bush terms was 'put on the credit card'.
it's also worth noting that they're borrowing from 'red' china, and have spent more than any democrat ever thought possible.
in a few decades it will be interesting to look back and see if the GWB years destroyed the republican party.
