I am sympathetic, but I don't sit in my armchair crying -- I volunteer my help. I give lots to charities of my choice and to people in need. I don't need a govt to tell me where to give it and then waste most of it on admin.

I am. Somebody needs help, I don't hum and haw about helping. I just go and do it. Not like you, Strolls. Sure, I read the speeches, the news, the comments to make my opinion on the macro view. And, I have been to ghetto areas, Stroller. You should do a tour yourself before you spew your liberal remarks and accusations. My black friends won't even go to the ghetto areas and they work hard to do the same as I do: make a living. And they work in regular jobs, many trying to raise families, just like the Chinese, East Indian, Thai, Japanese, Lao, and Korean people I count as my friends. Oh, and white folks, too.
