I'll give you critical thinking in the form that the protester who holds a sign calling Marines 'pigs' deserves the fate that befell those brave men in the barracks.

    Video of The Day!

Here's some video of the mature, peaceful, patriotic, fair-minded protestors in Berkeley.

Nothing like watching more foul-mouthed, violent, America-hating, military-despising, close-minded protestors in Berkeley, eh?

See some great catchphrases, hear some wonderful insults being tossed around, and watch as a mob of people chase two Republicans away yelling "Hit them!" and trying to start a fight.

Get your genuine SF Values here folks!

What I'm trying to suggest to you in a not so subtle way is that the pic's of dubious provenance Booners. Just because it was posted on LGF doesn't make it true... critical thinking.

And regardless it's refreshing to see that freedom, democracy, and freedom of speech extends to everyone, not just those you want to hear.

And since you've mentioned it, what automatically makes the men in the barracks "brave" anyways?

Getting through Marine Corp boot camp makes them automatically 'brave' plus, going in harms way?

It's a default answer if the boys are 'boots on ground' in Beruit, eh?

Take a peek at the typical 10 week or so Marine Corp boot camp regimen sometime...

    ...

So presumably someone who has done a 20 week course is also twice as brave as someone who has done ten weeks.

You have a very odd definition of "bravery". To take your rationale to its 'logical' conclusion a Marine is braver than a firefighter or a policeman who hasn't done the course.

Better to stick with Conservative, Christian values and picket a Marine's funeral?

Not Fux News itself, but the sheer number of inbred flag-waving morons who tune in is breath-taking.
Well, at least the fascist bible-bashers haven't got a candidate to vote for this time around...

Do you mean bible-bashers or bible-thumpers?

According to many people, one is bad, the other good. I'll let you choose.

These are synonyms, read my post again or consult a dictionary to establish the meaning.

    who are these 'many'?

and i have little doubt that you'll be able scour the internet and turn up some blockhead who has tried to reclaim the term 'bible basher' for one who 'bashes' the bible and its teaching, but the conventional/accepted definition is a fundamentalist who slams his hand on the bible for emphasis.

Bible thumper (also Bible beater, Bible basher) is a term used to describe Christian fundamentalists, or anyone perceived as aggressively pushing their religious beliefs upon those who do not share them. Its target domain is broad and can often extend to anyone engaged in a public show of religiosity, fundamentalist or not.

    Gotta do a couple more:

Frank Chu was on hand as well, sporting one of his incomprehensible signs. The woman standing behind him also held a yellow sign that defied analysis.
