How to make hot Mexican sauce

MEXICAN HOT SAUCE

1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
4 ripe tomatoes, chopped fine
Small onion, minced
1 green chili pepper, chopped (jalapeno)
1 1/2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. olive oil or bacon grease

Mash garlic with salt in bowl. Peel and mince tomatoes. Add minced onion, chopped chili pepper. Mix well by hand or use blender. Allow to set 1 day, if possible. Store in refrigerator. Yield: about 2 cups.
