I've just opened my first Victorian Bitter that I brewed with my own fair hand. Don't confuse it with that shit they manufacture in Australia; this is a full flavoured, dark English Bitter.
It has a very hoppy nose and a good bitter taste, almost like a mild Guinness. It's probably about 4 to 4.5% in strength, as although there is a little sweetness, it's not at all syrupy.
Pretty bloody good actually, and will get better with age.
One down, 47 to go.
