Why can I never find squash/cordial in Thailand?

    I fancy a beer but I won't, I'll have a Vimto instead.

Only I can't because I have never seen Vimto, or Ribena or Robinsons orange squash, lemon barley water or lime cordial.

    Or suet for dumplings.

    Or Weetabix.

My advice: Just keep movin' straight ahead. Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."

you can get squash and weeties in Rimping chiang mai.
never looked for suet so I don't know.

I have several boxes of weetabix in my cupboard.

I think it's amazing that a list of things we can't buy is very very small.

Ribena at Villa, and in case you have short-term memory loss or missed the previous posts you'll find Weetabix there too.

Fresh lime juice squeezed into soda with ice is a great for beer cravings. Better than that cordial shite which has more sugar in it than beer .

    Vimto!

    Forgot all about that !
There is/was a pub in Wolverhampton that was frequented by the West Indian community.

Made you feel quite queasy watching them downing pints of Guinness and Vimto shandy.

Okay, changing the subject - wouldn't it be great if every bar in Thailand served Oishi green tean in bottles and on draught.
