| Challenge to Starbucks The Hamburglar has his eye on the Grande Mocha Latte. McDonald's (MCD, news, msgs) will install coffee bars with baristas -- experts in preparing coffee drinks -- at nearly all of its 14,000 restaurants in the U.S., The Wall Street Journal reported. The move is part of the fast-food chain's continued effort to challenge Starbucks' (SBUX, news, msgs) dominance in the coffee market. Investors warmed up to the idea: Shares of McDonald's were up 92 cents, or 1.6%, to $57.97. Starbucks shares were up 60 cents, or 3.3%, to $18.71 by midday. More broadly, stocks were drifting by midday. Stocks plunged Friday on a weak jobs report that caused investors to worry about the possibility of a recession.
