Where can I buy a vibrating dog colar in LOS?

I really must do something to stop my Thai Dog from scaring the pants off people by barking at them, when I take her for a walk.

She seems to particularly hate Germans!

So one of those Collars that vibrate every time a Dog barks seems to be the only option......Does anyone know if they are on sale in LOS?

Take a spray water bottle with you and spurt her with it when she barks.

It worked for one of our dogs, but it took a little while.

    ...or pepper spray.

It worked on all the Aussie women I know.

Chatujak maybe? They have loads of pet stuff there.

Try water or a simple choke chain. Give her a tug when she starts to growl.

I have 2 and I got them off of Ebay. There are many different types and prices. Have them sent ordinary airmail, no customs paid.

It might have something to do with Germans eating dogs

There's a good pet shop on 3rd Rd, Tony's gym side, I can't quite remember where. They can probably help.

Your dog may have assumed the role of pack leader. He might think it is his responsibility to bark at the Germans, when in fact, the only one that should be barking, is you.

Strangely, dogs are happier when in a subservient role. They are less stressed when someone else does all the thinking for them. It is much easier that way. However, most dogs, and a lot of bitches, try to rise to the top if given the opportunity. Their responses to this new responsibility can be a bit erratic in different social settings, and I suspect your hound has delusions of grandeur.

Could it at all be possible, that your woofer thinks it has an elevated role in the household? I know it is unlikely, but do you or other household members share your food with the dog or let it sit on your chair/lap/bed?
Have a close look at the human/dog interactions and maybe try to reposition yourself as the boss.

Lil's idea of the water spray can work. I prefer the very loud BAAAA and a severe check on the choker chain. Careful though, you may be scarier to the Germans than the dog is.

My mate bought a dog collar that gives the dog a little electric shock, he has a small remote that he presses the button on when his dog needs control, got it from E-bay
