Just allegations - nothing proven and yes, I was referring to Ted (the swimmer) Kennedy. Real moral character there, eh?

as i've already posted, kennedy should have resigned back in the sixties.

but you see booner, that happened years before i was even born. it's 2007 and the senior republican senator is under FBI investigation TODAY. oh, and btw, so is his son. nice family values there.

    and as far as....

anyway, here's an interesting topic about mr. craig...

BOISE, Idaho - Sen. Larry Craig has been chosen for induction into the Idaho Hall of Fame, despite his well-publicized arrest and guilty plea in an airport sex sting, officials said.

probably won't be too crowded in the bathroom before and after the induction ceremonies.

BOISE, Idaho - Eight men say they either had sex with Sen. Larry Craig or were targets of sexual advances by the Idaho Republican at various times during his political career, a newspaper reported Sunday. One of the men is the former escort whose allegations disgraced the Rev. Ted Haggard, former president of the National Association of Evangelicals, the Idaho Statesman reported.
Amid pressure from top GOP leaders in Washington, Craig announced his intent to resign from the Senate. He later changed his mind, deciding to finish out his term, which expires in January 2009. He is also appealing in Minnesota courts to have his guilty plea overturned. The undercover police officer who arrested Craig said the senator moved his foot next to the officer’s foot and tapped it in a way that indicated he wanted sex. He also alleged the senator sent a signal by swiping his hand under the divider between men’s room stalls.
Craig has said the officer misconstrued those motions.

I suppose there aren't as many fudge-packing dens up in Boise as the good senator is used to in nation's capitol. Must be a real chore for him to trudge all the way back to Idaho and feign interest when the good old boys are gathered round in flannel shirts talking about trucks and huntin' moose and stockin' up provisions.

this is commonly referred to as 'hypocrisy'. and the only reason this is an issue.

what was your motivation for using this derogatory homosexual slur? are you aware that when posting about homosexuals or homosexuality, you frequently resort to this type of sophomoric, name calling?

you realize of course that when someone overcompensates in this way, it only make it appear as if he/she is trying to hide something.

well, i suppose that's for you to work out, isn't it?

    carry on.

This is a great thread, the Ownage is endless !!!

of course, it's safe to say that most Republicans are closet homos, so every time they get outed it's time to celebrate, like finding and squashing a lone cockroach in a kitchen floor

    Awesome

Yep, that's the tone of my post.

    fudge-packing
I'm pretty sure that's slang for taking (or giving) it up the ass. I never mentioned homosexuals. Double checking. Nope, not once.

when posting about homosexuals or homosexuality, you frequently resort to this type of sophomoric, name calling
Triple checking. Still no references to homosexuals. Thought I made my stance on homos clear in your homophobia thread.

    now, now.
    don't get all petulant....and disingenuous.

i'm not asking you to double or triple check anything...just to be honest....once.

the topic of the OP is a man....and do you really expect anyone to believe that you were referencing anything but homosexual men with the slur, 'fudge packers'?

Come on Ray, you know as well as I do that the number of cross-dressing transgendered, multisexual, dildo-wearing undercover Boise policemen is staggering.

I don't know the gender of the gentleperson in the adjacent booth to the honorable senator from Idaho.

To suggest Mr Craig is a homosexual is deceptive, divisive and borders on libelous. You continiously make assertions about people's homophobia yet are quick to label them.

There's a very good chance the senator believed in good conscious that the kind lass pushing a growler in the adjacent stall was up for a little rump riding.

Just because he sang in a barbershop quartet called the Singing Senators doesn't mean he's gay.

Taxpayers Paid For Trip That Led To Gay Scandal

    Posted: November 28, 2007 - 5:00 pm ET

(Olympia, Washington) Washington state taxpayers are on the hook for the trip that former Rep. Richard Curtis took to Spokane where he became embroiled in a gay sex scandal.

Curtis was supposed to be in Spokane for a 3-day October planning retreat for Republican state lawmakers.

State records show that the Washington House of Representatives paid Curtis $800 to cover his mileage, hotel stay and daily expenses.

Last month Seattle police unsealed a search warrant showing Curtis went to police alleging he was being blackmailed by a man he had picked up and taken back to the hotel room for sex. (story)

The warrant said that Curtis met Cody Castagna at a Spokane adult video store and brought him back to his hotel.

Following sex Curtis fell asleep. When he awoke his wallet was missing.

The warrant claims that later the man contacted Curtis and said he would return the wallet for $1000.

Curtis claimed he had only $200 and left the money in an envelope at the front desk of the hotel for the man to pick up.

The man is later alleged to have called Curtis again demanding an additional $800 or he would go to Curtis' wife.

    Curtis then went to police.

Castagna claimed that Curtis had met him at the Hollywood Erotic Boutique and offered him $1,000 in exchange for sex.

Following sex, Castagna claims, Curtis told him he did not have the $1000 on him and gave his wallet as collateral.

As the scandal became public Curtis resigned from the Legislature. (story)

After Curtis submitted his bills the House's chief clerk, Barbara Baker, carefully went over the expenses to see if the state was required to pay.

But Barbara Baker says she could not find justification for refusing to issue Curtis a check.

Baker said that Curtis attended all the meetings he was supposed to. None of the expense money, as closely as she could determine, had gone to paying for his tryst. and the incident had occurred on his own time.
