| Why should anyone need to negate another's beliefs? Does it really matter if someone else believes in ghosts or any other spiritual phenomena? A lot of Thais & a lot of people of other nationalities believe in ghosts, just as many more believe in some form of afterlife. If there is an afterlife, why can't there be ghosts?
If you don't believe in them, fine, but I don't see why a partner's belief is a problem that has to be 'dealt with'.
